Skaters Conquer the Track at Brazil’s 2nd Long Distance Skate Marathon and 1st 6-Hour Ultraskate

Something special happened at Speedland Kartódromo on December 15, 2024. The air buzzed with energy, wheels hummed against the pavement, and a mix of determination and thrill painted the faces of every competitor. The 2nd Long Distance Skate Marathon/Push Race and the first-ever 6-Hour Ultraskate turned the São Paulo track into a battleground of endurance, speed, and passion. Skaters and rollerbladers from across Brazil—and even a German athlete, Holger Witzel—came together for an unforgettable day.

This wasn't just about who could cross the finish line first. It was about resilience, strategy, and pure love for the sport. With multiple distance categories, the event catered to different levels of stamina and skill, but the real beast was the 6 hour Ultraskate. It was the first time Brazil had seen such a grueling test of endurance in this format, and the athletes rose to the occasion.

Not just a race but a celebration of speed sports, the event saw speed skaters sharing the track with long-distance push racers, creating a unique blend of disciplines rarely seen together. The sense of camaraderie was just as strong as the competition itself—athletes pushing each other not just to win, but to surpass their own limits.

All results for the 3k, 5k, 10k, 21k, and 6hour Ultraskate are available in Webscorer. And with JEPS Eventos Esportivos, led by skater Julio Eduardo, already gearing up for the 2025 edition, the promise is clear: bigger challenges, greater endurance, and even more unforgettable moments.
